This is the tried and true (with small variations) recipe for Good As Hell Amber.

I brewed this in stages on the same day, but combined all worts in one conical fermenter--this could be an expensive disaster, but hopefully not!!!

Mash with a direct heat source to maintain temperature.

Add 100% of mash water at 128° F / 53° C

2 Saccharification Temperature 30 min. 158°F

Heat to 158° F / 70° C over 15 minutes

3 Mash Out Temperature 10 min. 168°F

Heat to 168° F / 75° C for at least 10 minutes
